“The Man Of Your Dreams”

image

Y’all. Y’ALL.

I was gonna make this a series but then I was like “Aw nah I can wrap it up neatly in one go”.

And that “one go” took 3 and ½ hours and 10 pages!!!!!!!! (on GoogleDocs anyway…)

I went with my “keep dreaming about a man and then you go off to find him” idea.

The dating app one might be for a longer series, idk yet.

But this, this is my baby.

Like I said, I had this dream. Specifically the first and last scene. And ya’ll while I wrote the crescendo, I played Tyler Blackburn’s “Can’t Love Me.” Specifically starting at 2:11. I highly recommend playing it as you read from:

“Until out of nowhere–“Y/N???””

But that’s just me. I replayed that scene with the music about a thousand times in my head, I won’t lie to you.

I hope you love this as much as I do!!

“Your Soliloquy”

image

Last Rafael Barba prompt I have!

“Someone gets in an accident and almost dies,”

Yes, get ready for some angst. Not tons, and not too dark I promise.

However, two things:

1) The title of the story and the final line of the story are from “Jonas’s Soliloquy” from Leap Of Faith. So I highly recommend listening to the song first. Actually read up on the whole play, I really want to write a LOF series dammit. lol.

2) I don’t know anyone’s religious beliefs, but I do know Rafael is Catholic. There’s a tad dealing with religion, and God, and praying. If that offends you, don’t read it.
